| Plot |
| Steven Taylor (Michael Douglas) and his wife Emily (Gwyneth Paltrow) have a seemingly perfect life. He’s a successful currency trader, and she is set to inherit millions of dollars from her family’s trust. However, Steven’s business is in trouble, and he knows that his wife is having an affair with an artist, David Shaw (Viggo Mortensen). Her family is wealthy, and her inheritance could easily fix his financial situation. Steven blackmails David, threatening to expose damaging information about David’s past to the art world. Too keep this information from getting out, all David has to do is kill Emily, and Steven has the details already planned out. |
