A hard working FedEx executive, Chuck Noland (Hanks) is enjoying a busy life with his girlfriend Kelly Frears (Hunt), when a freak plane accident leaves him stranded on a deserted island in the middle of the ocean. The ensuing life that he is required to live leaves him a changed man in many ways and only one thing keeps him sane and alive long enough to figure out a way to escape his exile. Has the world that he finally finds a way to return to changed as much as he has, and can he find his place again in it? |
